Beerious Girls

In honor of IPA Day, I’m reviewing one of my all-time favorite IPAs.  Ska Brewing’s Modus Hoperandi is just as the name suggests, hoppy!  Weighing in at 6.8% ABV, it’s a great amber color with a real kick of hops and a slightly bitter flavor.  As my brother described it to me before I first tried it last year, “It’s like it just comes out and punches you in the face.”  Despite that, it has a smooth aftertaste.  Also, the name and packaging artwork really just makes this all the more awesome.
