The beer industry was abuzz during this year’s Craft Brewers Conference as Pennsylvania’s Sly Fox rolled out a new innovation in beer packaging - the “360 Lid.” The can, developed by Crown Holdings, allows the entire top to be pulled off a beer can so that the drinker can experience the full aroma and flavor of the beer. Already, the brewery has produced cans of their new Helles Lager and the Pikeland Pils with the 360 lid that have been distributed in Pennsylvania. But those beer drinkers excitedly looking for them in New York will be faced with a harsh reality: here, the cans are illegal.
Well, this explains why we can’t find these anywhere in NYC!
